God’s ways are perfect. God is sovereign. God remains God regardless of our circumstances, He remains God whether we live or die, whether in plenty or in lack, He remains God every moment of every day and in every area of our lives.

Life does not usually work out the way we had expected. Sometimes we place high hopes on something or someone but later what we expected fails to happen. During such times it is easy to start questioning God with why questions, during such times it is easy to lose hope. But may we never forget that God remains God no matter what we go through in this life. God’s ways are perfect.

God loves us and sees everything, there is nothing that happens in our lives that God is not aware of. We should rest in the assurance that God is still seated on the throne.

Romans 8 verse 28 tells us that all things work out together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. To those who love God, it is always a win-win no matter the outcome of our situations. When we surrender to God and allow His will to prevail, He will give us His best and not what we had thought in our minds was best. God’s ways are perfect.

The Bible tells us that God’s ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. God thinks good thoughts towards us, He has good plans for us. God works out everything for our good and for His glory. Even when things do not turn out as we had expected, God is still God, He is our ever-present help in times of need, He is our rock and our fortress and in Him we trust.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe. God is the Alpha and the Omega, He is the Beginning and the End, He knows the end from the beginning, He is our Father. Nothing in our lives escapes God’s knowledge. He knows everything.

We are told not to be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayers and supplications, with thanksgiving, we are to make our requests known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

How blessed is that person who has learned to give thanks to God in all circumstances! It is the will of God that we always give thanks.

God closes doors for a reason. When He does close a door that we had opened in our lives that we thought was good for us, we should learn to rest on God’s sovereignty. Instead of complaining and murmuring, we are to make our requests known to God, give thanks, and surrender to the will of God.

We do not know why things do not work out a certain way, we do not know why life seems to take a different turn than what we had expected, but we know one thing, we have a living God who knows everything, and we rest in the assurance that God has everything in control.

We walk by faith and not by sight.

The Bible tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the assurance of things not seen. Through faith in God, we continue to press forward. When we meet a roadblock, we pray for God’s guidance and for the Holy Spirit to show us the way, we pray for God’s will to be done in our lives. We stop following what we had thought in our minds was good for us and we ask God to lead us towards His best plans for our lives.

“You shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it’, whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.” Isaiah 30:21.

Let go of self-will and surrender to the will of the sovereign God. God’s ways are perfect. His way leads to everlasting life through Jesus Christ His Son.

Blessings.
